From the Owner….    Before opening the doors to Soleil By Design, LLC, I worked for a local design-build firm for seven years, where I gained invaluable experience working directly with the architects and craftsmen in construction.  I even enjoyed putting on a tool belt to assist with cabinet installation, drywall demolition, etc for an even greater hands-on experience.  With this direct experience, as well as a 4-year bachelors degree in housing studies (with an eduction emphasis in interior design, residential building construction, and architecture), I not only can create a beautiful design for you, but I also offer practical and buildable solutions for each project. During the design phase, i will provide you with conceptual drawings, as well as technical drawings for obtaining permits and working drawings for construction.  Whether large or small, I pay attention to all of the details through complete site evaluation, comprehensive planning, and open communication. In addition to improving function and aesthetics of your kitchens and bathrooms, I also specialize in whole-house interior living spaces (including wine cellars, fireplaces, home offices, entertainment spaces, and more).  I especially enjoy the space-planning aspect of the process and detailing floor plan layouts with complete finish and fixture specification, from tile, cabinetry, electrical plans, lighting fixtures, to color schemes and paint color selections. The end result will be one which reflects each homeowner’s own personal style while improving functionality within the environment on a daily basis.  My business is primarily repeat and referral.   ~Ellie R.
